The ticket includes hop-on hop-off travel and guided narration. Food and drink are not included in the basic ticket.
No. All consumption is settled directly at the wineries.
Strongly recommended, especially during peak season. The number of places is limited.
Just like with a movie or concert ticket, the ticket is valid for a specific day and departure and cannot be modified after purchase. If you are unable to attend, you can transfer the ticket to someone else by forwarding the confirmation email.
Travel & Schedule
From Balatonfüred, Vitorlás Square, returning to in front of Zelna Wine Bar.
Yes, we provide connections at several points (Hotel Panoráma, Boat Station, Ferry Crossing, Szőlőhegy, Abbey), timed to the ferry schedule.
The bus operates on schedule in a loop, so unfortunately it cannot wait.
If you miss it, you can rejoin on the next round. One round takes approximately 90 minutes.
The bus travels in one direction. If you want to go back, stay on board and get off at the desired stop on the next round.
Taxi services are available in the area, and the wineries will also help.
We recommend keeping an eye on the timetable – our colleagues on the last round will try to get everyone back to Balatonfüred.
The bus has undergone a complete overhaul, but if a problem arises, a replacement vehicle will arrive shortly.
There are places the large bus cannot access. In these cases we use smaller vehicles:
Petrányi, St. Donát, Homola → minibus transfer
Martinus, Tagyon Birtok → local experience-based transfer (e.g. tractor trailer)
The host will inform you in advance in every case.
Not in every case. Due to the size of the retro bus, some wineries can only be reached by smaller vehicles, so transfers will be necessary on certain routes or stops.
In addition, there will be days and tours operated exclusively with modern, fully comfortable buses, meaning the retro cabrio bus may not operate at all on some days.
As soon as the retro cabrio bus receives all required permits and insurance approvals, we plan to prioritize using it, as it is an iconic part of the project. However, we cannot guarantee that it will operate from the very first days of the season.
Experience & Consumption
Yes, you can freely decide to continue on foot or in your own way.
Important: the roads are not pedestrian-friendly in many places, so we do not recommend this.
Yes, every journey has a host who will tell you about the wine region and the wineries.
Tell the host and we will help you retrieve it on the next round.
Yes, we transport the wines on the bus and you will receive them back at the end of the day.
Luggage will be kept at the Balatonfüred Tourinform office for 72 hours.
After that… we will drink them to your health 😊
